I can confirm that there are problems in some situations. I attach a
presentation document to reproduce one of those situations.
To reproduce the bug:
1. open the attached document paste.odp
2. in the slide pane, select the only slide in the document, and copy it
(without pasting it).
3. select any object in the slide, or the whole slide again, and copy it. Now
you have it, you cannot paste anything from now on. You have to exit OpenOffice,
and even the quicksarter to get it work again.

In this case, the problem seems to be caused by copying a slide with equation
objects (created with MS Equation editor).
