2005 -------
By default, the 2.0 versions come with SAL_ENABLE_FILE_LOCKING enable.
This is great for local file systems, but on NFS they tend to crash OOo.

Later NFS versions - 4.0 - support file locking with lockd, I think it's better
to have some kind of code to use this, instead of using it by default and
causing crashes.
