User mru changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ CC|'' |'mru' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Assigned to|mru |requirements -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary|wrong import of Word97 |WW8: Writer's frames need |frame old kind |different wrapping | |algorithm to emulate WW's | |old style frames -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jul 18 04:49:13 -0700 2005 ------- Problem here, is that these old style frames in Word have "around" wrapping which is comparable to Writer's "optimal" wrap. You can see this when opening the doc in Word and moving the frame step by step to the left. Somehow the frame will be wrapped only on the right side though text would also fit on the left. Word seems just to use a different algorithm to calculate the "optimal" wrapping. Also, the background color of a paragraph will not affect the frame, though it has "no fill". MRU->UserEx: do we really need to take the effort and implement a compatibility mode for these old WW6-style frames? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
