User jeidsath changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|CLOSED |UNCONFIRMED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|WORKSFORME | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jul 18 05:39:34 -0700 2005 ------- I use 1.9.113 on Win XP. Here is a little more detail about the problem: Selecting or double-clicking a synonym from the "meanings" column does not change the replace box. Word, whom you've cloned here, uses the correct behavior. When clicking on a meaning, the first word in the synonym column should be selected -- and your thesaurus database is designed so that this is the same as the word just selected in the meaning column. This is bad UI. Yes, you are saving someone from having to use the cancel button after he looks through the meanings list. The cost is that you have made the dialogue unintuitive. The user opens Thesaurus, clicks a meaning, clicks OK, and nothing happens. Not exactly expected. There is no way to tell from just looking that a selection from the synonyms column will affect the replace box, but a selection from the meanings column will not. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
