in the file attached there is a large table spread onto 2 pages with the first 2
rows selected to repeat at top
when 2 cells on the first row are merged, the heading row moves somewhere in the
document leaving its normal position. 
after saving and restoring the problem is solved, but its rather stressing
working like this.
