I am used to saving the merged documents as a single file. I have tried to create a very simple document with only 10 fields, and nothing more, from a DBF table which had 14 records. I used a direct conection to DBF and an ODBC connection. In both cases it takes a couple of seconds to proces a record. About a minute for the 14 records. Attention! Ms Word does in a couple of seconds the whole document. What is possibly wrong here...
