Having a second set of dialogs to solve a problem like this is a terrible idea and awful UI design. It adds needless complexity. Either the replacement dialog should be good enough to replace the system dialog completely and transparently (and it's not--it lacks some of the features, and looks uglier) or it should not exist all. An un-self-explanatory option for switching dialog sets should not have to exist.
