------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jul 31 19:00:44 -0700 2005 ------- I have just installed Fedora Core 4. On post-installing test of applications, it was discovered that Open Office has an installation problem. In each user's home directory, the .openoffice/user folder contains a symbolic link named "work" which points to the user's home directory. This causes an infinite loop if symbolic links are followed while tracing through directory structures. It is not known if this problem existed in the FC 3 installation -- I only discovered it while testing applications after having installed FC 4. Since I did not upgrade OO at the time, I would suspect it had been there, but I am at a loss to explain why it did not present a problem at that time. Work around: remove the file "work" (a symbolic link file) from the /home/ USERNAME/.openoffice/user directory. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
