I am working on enabling Oriya in OpenOffice, and have just filed issues for modifications to the locale settings files, and submitted an Oriya locale. I have fixed the remaining bugs with Oriya rendering in ICU 3.4. We are backporting the changes to ICU 2.6 in order to have it work with OpenOffice 1.9x/2.0, as it seems that it will be a few months before OpenOffice moves to ICU 3.4. So, it would be nice if Oriya could be include now so that we can at least build a local copy of Oriya-enabled OpenOffice. Thanks.
