------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Aug 8 01:17:32 -0700 2005 ------- On freebsd-4, /usr/sbin/pkg_update first issues pkg_delete <installed package>, then pkg_add <new package>. When making pkg_delete, appropriate @commands from the +CONTENTS file of the package get executed. In native freebsd package of the languagepack, there are @commands which @dirrm (remove) directories belonging not only to the languagepack proper, but the directories containing the openoffice installation itself. The same effect (removing complete openoffice installation) would take place when simply removing languagepack package, though I didn't check this. How do such commands make it into package's packaging list (which then becomes part of the +CONTENTS file in the package .tgz file), I can't tell, but they surely are there after completing of the build process. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
