The mentioned paragraphs do not belong to the same numbering. You can see this
when clicking onto the numbering label of the paragraph "Figures"; only its
number A will be highlighted, not the B of "Tables".
Remove the numberings from this paragraphs and assign a (manually created) list
style to these paragraphs to have a consecutive numbering on this.
Two different outline numberings which are based on paragraph styles is
currently not supported by OO and will be done for the successor of OO 2.0. See
specification "Bullets and Numberings Part 2" on specs.openoffice.org.
