User madbop changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|RESOLVED |UNCONFIRMED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|WORKSFORME | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Aug 14 07:49:37 -0700 2005 ------- The navigator is a great instrument to view and manipulate an already well structured document, however it is definetly -not- designed to -build- a structured document from scratch. So called mind managing software allows the user to build a structure right from the beginning with simple and straight forward navigation (actually cursor keys <enter>, <insert>, <del> are alread enough to build a tructured document) in a 2D-dependency tree. This facilitates a larger portion of the display for structuring (usually up to 300% more!) and allows to show/hide (un-/fold) specific subentries (not only all at a certain level). What I am also missing is management information like which portion has been modified when and by whom (necessary in a collaborative environment) as well as marking (e.g. flagging with "todo", "asigned to", etc. info) of the elements. I do agree that this issue should be resolved as a navigator enhancement. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
