I go to the slide sorter, where I select 3 slides (1,3,6). I stay in the slidesorter and use file/print/options to check "handout" and uncheck "drawing". In the print dialog the selction checkbox is greyed out. Right so far? Printing brings me all slides. I used the printrange/pages option to specify the desired pages, what works. In which version did you see this working (which "elder Office-Versions"? I have tested this in 1.1.0 where it behaved the same. If you have seen this in former times and not nowadays it is a bug. If this has never behaved this way it is a feature.
