------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Aug 16 10:58:39 -0700 2005 ------- I have 2 columns of date&time, and want to subtract them to get a column of elapsed time. It works correctly if I format the cells HH:MM:SS but, I wanted days and hours. The custom format DD.HH:MM doesn't work right, as zero is 1899-Dec-30, thus an elapsed time of 0 days 12 hours shows as 30.12:00, and an elapsed time of 2 days 14 hours shows as 01.14:00 Is there any way to handle this differently? The only workaround I see for now is to add one day, then format it as: [<2]"00."HH:MM;[<1]"01."HH:MM;DD.HH:MM Seems messy. and won't work for more than 31 days. Running 1.9.118 but upon checking oo1.1 it does the same thing there too.
