------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Aug 17 16:19:55 -0700 2005 ------- There is no way to save updates to pre-existing templates -- especially user-changes in styles. For example, if I am trying to set up a specialized numbering list, as a user-defined style (keying all that in via Ctrl-F11/Style Catalog > List Styles), and then try to save that info to an existing template (File > Templates > Organize ... drag-and-drop from right column to a template listed in the left column), the newly defined user style -- which is supposed to be saved into the template -- survives only in the original file in which it was saved. If I then create a new document with that template (where the style info should be), the edited/saved style does not exist. OOO (supposedly) registers the correct template path, so that is not the problem. This has been dogging me through several beta releases of OOO. The current version I work with is 1.9.122 My system is Linux, Fedora Core 4, AMD Athlon XP 2200 processor. But this is also a problem on my laptop (Toshiba Satellite, Celeron/Coppermine, also running FC4) which also has OOO 1.9.122. I have not tried this on my windows version, but could do so and update this issue report. One other thing, I don't think this is a permission problem with the templates folder, which are stored below my home folder. The templates folder as well as the individual template files, allow read/write privileges to all users (i.e. -rw-rw-r--). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
