2005 -------
create a new text document
create a new style from "Default"
call it "New1"
Create another style from "Default" or "New1"
Call it "New2"
In the "Font" tab select "Bold"

Now write two paragraphes.
Apply "New1" on the one and "New2" on the other.

Print the document: both paragraphs are printed in bold.

My configuration: OOo 1.9m122, Linux, SuSE 8.2.

Regards :-)

Philippe.
