User mib changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|STARTED |RESOLVED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution| |FIXED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Aug 23 05:22:27 -0700 2005 ------- The issue occurs if files that were saved with a m85 or new version are loaded in a m84 (or below) version and are saved again there. >From m84 for m85 the namespace URIs for the namespace prefixes fo, svg and smil were changed. As a result fo this change, all formatting properties from the fo, svg and smil namespace are not recognized by the m84. The attributes from these namespaces are kept as unknown attributes. If the file gets saved again, the unknown attributes are saved again. SInce the qualified names of these attributes (like fo:margin-left) are predefined ones, they clash with attributes that are generated by OOo itself. For instance, a fo:margin-bottom is created by the m84 for each bottom margin, but exists also as unknown attribute. To avoid these name clashes, unknown attributes have to use a different namespace prefix if the the prefix they have is a predefined one (i.e. the unknown attribute fo:margin-bottom has to become fo1:margin-bottom). A check for this was missing. The issue of cause cannot be resolved for m84 an previous version, but it has been fixed for the current version, so that the situation will not happen again. Attached is a bugdoc that simulates the situation of m84/m85, it contains a new namespace URI for the prefix fo within styles.xml. Loading an re-saving this file is possible now. Unknown attributes (all with the fo namespace and a few additional ones) are preserved. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
