2005 -------
I have installed OO 1.9.m122 on RHEL 3. Here are machine specifics:

P4 with 1GB of memory
RHEL 3 Update 5
Kernel : 2.4.21
Glibc : 2.3.2
KDE : 3.1.3
Gnome : 2.2.2
Video card : NVidia GForce 2 MX
Java : IBM JDK 1.4.2-1

I have added "unset SESSION_MANAGER" as suggested from the README in the
soffice script. I can start the OO fine when I am using Gnome. However, when I
switch to KDE, regardless of which OO application (write, calc, draw, or any
others) I use, the application does not start. All I see is a blank frame of OO
and then the process dissapears. I can not fine any system core or Java core.
OO 1.1.4 from the OO site or 1.1.2 from RH works fine.
