------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Aug 26 09:05:44 -0700 2005 ------- If I put some figures into a document (Im using the default paragraph anchor) then add some text at a later time. If a the figure anchor point nears a page boundary writer can get stuck in an endless loop of re-layout computations. It seems like writer moves the figure to another page, then reflows the text, and decides that the anchor has moved back to the previous page, moves the image back, reflows the text, then decides that the anchor has moved to the next page, moves the figure reflows the text ......... and so on ad-infinitum. This is only visible because of constrat screen redraws and slow response. Scrolling the document to view the offending part on screen seems to break the cycle. PS. If I wrap a caption frame (using Insert->Caption) round an image, should not the Frame inherit the image anchor and wrap properties, and the image become anchord to the frame. Right now I have to anchor the image to the frame by hand, an operation which causes the image to grow to exactly the size of the frame, thus hiding one of the frame boarders and requiring me to resize the image downward again. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
