The only way I have found to get things to work again is to repair the install. Now I have gotten the same problem to occur if I try to assign OpenOffice Calc as the default application for opening .csv files. When I make Calc the default application for .csv files I run into other problems as well. I get an error dialogue saying "Cannot find the file "(filename).csv" (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available."
