------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Aug 26 20:20:53 -0700 2005 ------- Save a writer document containing paragraph anchored objects (Format - Anchor - "To paragraph") like graphics, frames or OLE-objects in MS-Word format(File - "Save As..." - file type: "Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc)". If you open it again (or just reload it using File - Reload) the objects are anchored to character instead of paragraph. With simple files (like the one attached) this makes no problem, but complexer layouts become strangely corrupted. I found the bug in 680m122 (Win98SE) too, for m125 I reproduced it on Win98SE and Linux (SuSE 9.3). In OOo1.1.5rc1 the objects stay anchored to paragraph, therefore it's a regression for me. I was told on the de-users mailing list, that in an office someone has been using OOo1.1.4 for a long time for writing and updating documents with a lot of graphics. For compatibility reasons they have to be saved in Word format. When he opens such a file in 680m122 most of the graphics have moved. Reanchoring and repositioning them makes it even worse the next time. If you are interested in such a larger file i'll attach it too.
