------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Aug 28 12:42:44 -0700 2005 ------- When selecting a series of cells and formatting them to 'date', if the format isn't already correct (mm/dd/yy) it does some funky stuff. If only a year is given and is intended, it converts it to a date that isn't intended. This could be resolved by checking to see if the cell is in the correct format and if not defaulting to either 01/01/yyyy or leave in yyyy format. I ran into this problem when I had some date infomation that had mixed format date info. Interestingly, calc recognized it as date info and presented it in mm/dd/yy format. While that worked in the 1990's, I would recommed that if it's going to recognize this type of info, the format be mm/dd/yyyy. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
