------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Aug 29 12:33:03 -0700 2005 ------- Hi, I don't know about Greek but I also have a problem with accents. I am using Gentoo Linux (Portage 2.0.51.22-r2 (default-linux/x86/2005.0, gcc-3.3.5-20050130, glibc-2.3.5-r1, 2.6.12-gentoo-r6 i686) with XOrg 6.8.2-r2 and gnome 2.10 and Ximian OpenOffice 1.3.9-r1 which is 1.1.4 I believe. Since version 1.3.9 I have a problem with any accents. I think deadkeys stopped working for me. I'm afraid this is might be a duplicate of Issue 5397, but I have set my locale properly to [EMAIL PROTECTED], however I don't know if this should support deadkeys. The problem is I have a bit of a deviated setup because I use my own keymap. This is in my xorg.conf: Option "XkbRules" "xorg" Option "XkbModel" "pc105euro" Option "XkbLayout" "us-dutch" I'm also using "export GTK_IM_MODULE="xim"" so that gnome looks to the x keymap instead of it's own kemap system. This works perfectly in every app, except for ximian openoffice since 1.3.9 (so the problem wasn't there in about 1.1.3). I assume it has a problem working together with the X input method (xim). So what's my problem exactly? When I type a deadkey (accent,...) and then a letter, I just get nothing, not even the letter. As to the closing of these duplicate bugs: since this used to work for me and stopped working recently, I really consider this a bug, unless ofcourse the problem is with a faulty configuration on my behalf. Also sorry for stealing this bug, just didn't felt like filing another ;-) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
