------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Aug 31 23:42:16 -0700 2005 ------- I choose to install OpenOffice, years ago, using a sort of "Network" install. >From that install I could do local installs. I have since removed the locals successfully (using the local directory installer "Setup" interface). However, in Windows registery, as well as the 'local Setup' program that deinstalled 'local' so well, just go into a 'install' mode. Install is a snap, now 'deinstall or uninstall' (I found that issue and see we only speak of uninstall now) :) -- I suppose I could just delete the directory, and find a registry sweeper to clean up the registery, but what other files on the system. --- Perhaps an option in the newer versions would be to check for old installs and offer the possibility to uninstall them properly. --- Screen shots follow --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
