Here is how I replicated this issue: Goal: I have two slides. I want to have the first slide transition at medium speed and the second at fast. (Any transition type will work; I first used dissolve.) 1. Create two slides. 2. Right click on the first slide and select transition. 3. Select dissolve (in apply to selected slides) and select medium speed. 4. Click on slide two from the left menu. 5. Select dissolve at fast speed. 6. Select the first slide again and notice that the speed is set to fast instead of medium.
