Since I don't find an "Insert table" button either in my UI I wonder how your's got there. It should be clear to all of us that inserting tables in formulae is (at least as far as I know) not supported and such button does not belong there. I could imagine that you maybe imported settings from an older OOo installation. Is this the case? If so, please remove the OOo2.0 installation, reinstall it and do NOT import the old OOo1.1.x settings.
