No, this doesn't look right and it is not (obviously - why would one install a
file that is not readable nor executable by anyone, not even root?). But this is
not the desktop-integration but one of the main-packages (core02) that fails to
convert/install properly

What is the output of
rpm -qp --qf "[%{FILEMODES:perms} %{FILENAMES}\n]"
openoffice.org-core02-1.9.125-1.i586.rpm |grep soffice

(all in one line)?

If it is
-r-xr-xr-x /opt/openoffice.org1.9.125/program/soffice
-r-xr-xr-x /opt/openoffice.org1.9.125/program/soffice.bin

(as it is the case here), then either
* alien has a bug and doesn't convert this rpm properly (but why should it fail
on one single file only?)
* you accidently removed the permissions yourself

Please issue a similar command to query the filepermissions of the converted
debian package and whether the permissions on disk match the ones of the file on
the system. (the euqivalent to "rpm -V openoffice.org-core02" or similar)
