------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 7 06:22:04 -0700 2005 ------- I am working with the same configuration as nkuehn and have the same problem with OpenOffice concerning the opening of a document that was generated externally. Sporadically, the writer hangs up when rendering the document and calculating the number of pages. When browsing the XML-files I detected that in the meta.xml there can be stored some meta information about the number of pages, words... the document contains. If this information is not set or the number of pages is set to low, the writer tends to hang up. Unfortunately, we do not know about the correct number of pages at document generation time. When setting the number of pages to an extremely high value (10000) the rendering seems to work. It takes the writer a lot of time to correct that value, however, this work-around solves our problem, at least at the moment. It is strange that you are not able to reproduce our problem. Do you use a working build of m125 or do have the official release installed? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
