I opened the file with impress and it imported it just fine. I continued by running a slide show and shifting through the slides. I noticed a spike of 30% cpu usage everytime I transitioned through slides on avg, but the transition time was not very slow, maybe 2 or 3 seconds. I continued to check whether the program would crash when exitting the slideshow and I did not experience any problems.
