It is now possible to select "1.2 Extended" as the default odf version
in "tools->options->load/save->general->odf format version". This is
also the default.
This setting export ODF 1.2 documents including features that are not
yet part of the ODF 1.2 version.
At the time of this feature announcement this only includes the new
comments feature in impress.
