I am french, and i don't speak english very well. So Excuse me for my bad
english.
My configuration is :
PIII 450mhz - 320Mo - Double boot (Win 98 and Linux)
sound card ES1938 with gameport (joystick Logitech wigman) drivers alsa
0.5.12b
distrib Mandrake 8.1 kernel 2.4.8-34.mdk
When I try jstest or js_demo : message is
------
' no such device or joystick not detected'
------
So I try with alsa tool : alsactl store. But in the file asound.conf, I don't
find a section with "joystick" ?
Could the snd-card-es1938 driver supportted gameport for joystick or not ?
Before try with alsactl, I try the traditionnal :
modprobe gameport
modprobe joydev
modprobe ns558
modprobe analog
but, modprobe ns558 error was :

I think, it's because alsactl don't detect gameport for joystick.
