It should, but you know, all samples goes through the DSP, so it depends on the firmware. > -*- > > There is something weird in the mixer with SB Live/line-in2: > It does not make any difference even if recording mode > is on or off, or if capture levels are 0 or 100. > > The description in "alsa-kernel/Documentation/SB-Live-mixer.txt" and > the real system does not match. > > Well, it would be nice if the diagrams would look like the following: > > > capture <-------------------------------------------------- > | | | | | > mute mute mute mute mute > | | | | | > fader fader fader fader fader > | | | | | > line line2 mic etc. > > monitor <-------------------------------------------------- > | | | | | > mute mute mute mute mute > | | | | | > fader fader fader fader fader > | | | | | > line line2 mic etc. > > > There is a Drive/line-in2 mute button in MS Windows but not in Alsa. > Only way to mute is to turn the common recording/playing fader down, What is common recording/playing fader? I have no LiveDrive or LiveDrive II. It might be possible that I/O pins of EMU10K1 might be connected differently than our firmware expects. It might be bug of firmware or other.
