Ok, i had to apply the following patch to get rid
of error message from aplay:

and after this, i can't here anything using center_lfe pcm.
If i play with the 'SB Live Analog/Digital Output Jack' toggle,
i can here some 'pop' and white noise (do you know what QRM is ?),
like an untuned radio channel on your HIFI.

PS: just a notice, it seems the 'Headphone 1' mute toggle
is turned off each time a start alsamixer: if i mute
it in alsamixer then leaving alsamixer, then restart it
unmute this mixer.
