no this driver don't use oss/alsa api , it's a stand alone driver

but this week, i put a newer good version that user /dev/sequencer from
NOTEMIDI driver

I think the ALSA driver already exists at the sourceforge link I mentioned
(above).

Oliv, correct me if I'm wrong but the driver you wrote for the Portman is an
ALSA driver.  c'est vrai?
