good to hear. i've dug up a document which i think is the one you are
referring to, http://www.djcj.org/LAU/guide/evolution-usb-midi.php --
it talks about *all* evolution keyboards, and the uc-33 looks just
like a mk-449c without the keys.

if i'm not mistaken, m-audio are of the relatively more helpful kind.
they even provided jaroslav with hw for driver development iirc.
