Hello!
I have a fresh installation of LMDE using the mainboard Intel D945GCLF2.
There were no issues during the installation, and I can use the system with only one exception: no sound.
I was not able to identify the root cause and collected system relevant data with a script provided by Alsa: alsa-info.sh
The output of this script is attached to this email.
I'm hoping that somebody can identify the root cause for this issue (that is potentially just a wrong setting).
The parallel WinXP installation shows no audio issues, means the speaker and onboard soundchip are working.
