FYI: working with standard USB audio mode,
But since it claims to be a "8 x 50W 6.1, 4.2, 4.0 Configurable USB Codec
Input Audio Amplifier Board" the modes are not respected, which can be
configured via switches on the Amplifier board.
ALSA Channels names (speaker-test):
Front Left - Front Right - Rear Left - Rear Right - Front Center - Woofer
- Side Left - Side Right
Input to KAB9 has differential Input feed by USB-AUDIO Interface with channel
numbers:
IN1L+,IN1L-,IN1R+, ...,IN8R-
Signal are clean as differential signals (measured on speaker)
ALSA channel order stereo mode:
IN1 = 3, IN2=4, IN3=7, IN4=8, IN5=5, IN6=6, IN7=1, IN8=2
ALSA channel numbers mono mode:
channel 1 = IN2 = 4, channel 2 = IN4 = 8, channel 3 = IN6=6, channel 4 =
IN8=2
Questions:
- How to correct channel order ?
- How to switch between Mono und Stereo Mode on driver side maybe a module
argument ?
Additionally on alsamixer there are all input parameter of the CM6206, but
Card has only outputs...
Anyway thanks ALSA and USB Audio standard I can used it, but any hints how to
make it more intuitively usable is appreciated.
