Digital inputs & outputs are suppoused to work. I cannot tell you, since I
don't have any digital equipement to conect the card to. But I've seen
messages of people using it successfully.

As far as i know, SoundTrack cards do not have any synth capabilities. All
midi synth is done in software. I tryed playing midis in Windows once. And it
gave me the typical poor quality you'd expect of a software synth.

Of course! I'm sure those cards use main memory. And main CPU, too. ;-D

The card is a one-channel pcm card. No hardware support for synth, no hardware
support for mixing streams. (AFAIK) etc... If this is what you want, the card
is nice. If you want wavetable... there are very few cards doing it in
hardware.
