Maybe do 'rm config.cache' in the alsa driver directory first. Are you really running the new kernel, check with 'uname -r'. > The second problem is present when I tried to do the > make install, even with > the debug parameter, It's making an infinite loop and > showns two errors the > firts one is shown in red in the fig. > "make_install1.png", and the second is > shown in brown (an undefined variable), and It seems > to be a function problem > too) you can stare at the fig."make_install2.png". > > My friend if you know someting about it, or know about > someone else who could help me, please tell me. Hi, please reply to the list, other people may be able to help you. _Don't_ sent screen snapshots (.png files); they take up much bandwidth, there are easy methods to insert plain text error messages in email, unfortunately the methods depend on your setup :( My post to which you responded: .> I have a simple request if possible. where could I .> find the sis 7018 pci driver for mandrake 7.2. The ALSA driver directory .then created has an INSTALL file with instructions. .You need the snd-card-trident module. (the driver package has the source .for all drivers, but you can choose to compile only the ones you need). -Frans _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
