Hello Jaroslav, Thank you for taking the time to throw togather this document. It answers some of the questions I had. I do still have a couple left:
When you say things like "rear right DAC PCM slot of the AC'97 codec" what does that mean in terms of the physical sound card outputs? In particular I have a SBLive 5.1, is there any way I can make use of the combined digital/analog output to have 6 descrete analog chanels? (so far I am stuck using 4) What about the 60 or so "EMU10K1 PCM" and "EMU10K1 PCM send" channels that show up in my alsamixer and have no affect on the sound output? Thanks, Michael. PS.
