I've installed alsa-driver-0.5.12 on linux 2.2.x.
When I play 8 bit audio files (.wav, .au, etc.. doesn't matter), I can
hear an initial click at the beginning of the sound. Not always, but
often. If I immediatly play that file a second time, it's ok, but after
e.g. one minute, the problem is there again.
I have tried aplay, play, bplay...all the same, I think it's a problem
of the driver (not the files themselves, since I can hear them perfectly
under windowz).
The 16 bit audio files are ok.
Is there a way to correct this little problem?

My soundcard is a soudblaster live.

The other 2 packets concerned are:
alsa-lib-0.5.10b
alsa-utils-0.5.10

Debian/GNU linux 2.2
kernel 2.2.18.
