I'm hoping to use Linux+ALSA+Ardour for a production studio for a college radio station (www.ktxt.net). I've used ALSA for well over a year (maybe 2 years now? whoa..) and a Hoontech 4D-wave NX soundcard. Obviously for this system I need a more professional soundcard. I don't have a ADC box, so the card needs to have analog input. We've got a good board, so big multi-channel input isn't a big requirment. Really good quality input is. And it also need to be a soundcard I can actually buy. =) Hopefully around $200.
