I am trying to compile alsa for kernel 2.4.10. I have received this error with 0.9beta7, beta8 and CVS. (Using beta4 I get a different error, about a missing tasks.h)
When compiling alsa-lib, i get the following error. control.c: In function `snd_ctl_card_info_get_driver': control.c:1036: structure has no member named `driver' control.c: In function `snd_ctl_card_info_get_components': control.c:1080: structure has no member named `components' make[2]: *** [control.lo] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/alsa-lib-0.9.0beta7/src/control' Can anyone tell me how I can get around this error - I am quite eager to get a running alsa.
