I just installed a Midiman Delta DiO 2496 card and I'm trying to get it
to work. I have loaded:

If I run envy24control, the mixer comes up, and things look fine. If I
try to run alsamixer, I get:
alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: Sound protocol
is not compatible
If I run amixer info, I get:
amixer: Control device 134538560 open error: Sound protocol is not
compatible
Does any one have this card working, and can you offer me some hints on
what I need to do?
