I have built a new system with a SB Live 5.1 and DTS3500 Cambridge Soundworks Speaker System. I am using the digital out connector with the cable that comes with the speakers. It works fine with W2K but using alsa-0.9.0beta9 I can get no sound. I have unmuted all setting with alsamixer and as far as I can tell all the modules are loaded I get no errors. trying to play an mp3 or an audio cd they seem to play but no sound. I am running Debian/Sid with kernel 2.4.14 could someone give me some instructions or point me to the proper documentation. Thanks Brad
