Dear Alsa Project:
I've compiled driver-0.512a into my 2.4.10 kernel. (SuSE 7.3)
aplay works OK on the test.wav file.
The modules seem to load fine:

I don't see any messages in /var/log/messages other than those that
show alsasound starting and stopping.
I don't hear any sound with audio cd's with either kscd or cd-console.
Can you help me?
