In addition for my first mail about cmi 8738 :
Before I posted the previous message in the mailing list it didn't
get trough my mind to try try the S/PDIF output.After I done that
I played some wav's with aplay (horrible but sound).It can play even
with Xmms.
Meantime the analog output refuses to make any sound.It's beyond my
capacities to understand because the 3 hours version off OSS/Linux
works with the analog output.
However I included the dump of registers and mixer status.
