Hello, I have installed successfully ALSA drivers (SoundBlaster 16 PCI) on Linux (Mdk 8.1) and i can play MIDI files through MIDI port on my external synthetizer now (OSS had no support of MIDI port).
I have also a second old pure MPU401 ISA card (Midiman ISA MPU401) with only one MIDI IN/OUT port (no sound nor mixer). Is there an ALSA driver for this type of MIDI cards? Best regards.
