I really don't know what to do. but I can't install
alsa-lib after compiling is ok. I have RH 7.2.
I have stored the kernel source in /usr/src/linux
folder and use the same prefix both for the driver and
the lib.I have earlier installed the alsa with good
result with the earlier beta 10 version downloaded
from stanford.edu site, but now they require a newer
kernel which I don't have, and I will not install a
newer kernel, so I thought that the alsa 5.0.9 would
do the job.I have a Terratec 24/96 soundcard with
ICE1712 chipset, and that should be coverd by the alsa
driver whitout any problems. So if there is anybody
outthere who has installed alsa-driver-5.0.12a and
alsa-lib-5.0.10 on a redhat 7.2 system, please give me
a note.
