Hi,
I have been trying for a while to get a Midiman Delta 66 to work with the
alsa drivers.
I have tried various distributions all with the same results, the card loads
and looks fine (I think!) but I get no sound.
Currently I am using Mandrake 8.2 with the version of alsa that comes with
it.
I was able to compile the Envy mixer and have unmuted and raised all of the
sliders.
Here is my mod.conf file:
alias usb-interface usb-uhci
above snd-card-ice1712 snd-pcm-oss
alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-ice1712
probeall scsi_hostadapter ide-scsi
alias eth0 8139too
Here is the output from my car /proc/asound/cards
cat /proc/asound/cards
0 [card1 ]: ICE1712 - M Audio Delta 66
M Audio Delta 66 at 0xc400, irq 10
Here is the sndstat output:
cat /proc/asound/sndstat
Sound Driver:3.8.2-980706 (ALSA v0.5.12a emulation code)

Synth devices: NOT ENABLED IN CONFIG
Midi devices: NOT ENABLED IN CONFIG
Timers:

So does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?
tia
